WHO: Programmes for Youth teams at U14, U15, U17 & U19 grades.

U14, U15 & U17 Grade Youth Development Teams
There will be one U14 Grade, U15 Grade & U17 Development Team if numbers allow. Coaches will be allocated by the Club.
The Development Team environment will provide a more challenging environment for those Youth players wanting to push themselves to the next level. Teams will be competing in the top bands in the Mainland Competition. Development Teams don't necessarily stay together each year.

WHERE: Home games are held at Kendall Park, Island Road Kaiapoi. Away games are in Christchurch.
WHEN: Saturdays. Times are dependent on grade level.

Dates: 2nd, 4th, 9th & 11th February
Time: 4:30pm-5.30pm

U17 Development Teams

These teams will have two trainings a week during the season. These may be on grass or turf.
UNIFORM:
- Players provide their own black shirts, shorts and socks, shin pads, and boots.
- Shin pads are COMPULSORY.
- Full Adidas Uniform will need to be purchased in 2026 for this grade.
CANCELLATIONS: Grounds and game cancellations will be on the Club website and Facebook page as well as the Mainland Football website.
Our Mainland Registrations close normally in middle March - once we can allocate teams, and get them entered into the Mainland Leagues for 2026. Those who register after this, will be placed into a team where there is a space. They will pay the full fees rate.
All players must be registered by the start of April 2026, to play at the start of the season – which usually kicks off at the end of April - Those registering after the April 2026 will go on a Waitlist until we find you a team.

TEAM ALLOCATION:
These teams will be formed from 2025 Teams/friends. New Players will be added to 2026 Teams. Our Community Teams will be parent-led. There will be no trials for Community Teams.
