Brad Eiffe steps down as CCL Head Coach
Waimak United's CCL Head Coach Brad Eiffe has stepped down from his role at the football club due to recently relocating to Blenheim. The 35 year old coach joined the club in 2018 and guided the team to 3rd place in the league last season, however a move to Blenheim has unfortunately made it just too difficult for Eiffe to continue in his role.
Club Chairman Owen Hallmark confirmed Brad's departure, stating "Brad has been fantastic as Head Coach for our Men's CCL team and did a great job last season, we were looking forward to seeing him building on the good work he has put in place however practicalities of his move to Blenheim has forced him to make the difficult decision to step down. On behalf of Waimak United I would like to thank him for all his hard work and service to Waimak United and wish him the very best for the future."
The club will now look to appoint Brad's replacement over the coming weeks according to Football Development Officer Adam Keizer. "I've only had a couple of months to get to know Brad but it's clear he leaves the team in a good place and has the respect of everyone at the football club," said Keizer. "It's important we now ensure the right management team is appointed to move forward and build on the good work put in place under Brad's leadership".
On behalf of everyone at the club - Thank you Brad and good luck for future!
