Christchurch International Cup (CIC)

We are excited to share that Waimak United has received an invitation to enter three of our teams into the prestigious Christchurch International Cup (CIC) this July, and a U10 Team is one of them.

This Tournament is fantastic, attracting top teams from around New Zealand and also overseas teams. Entry is highly sought after, and we are excited to have been offered a place for a U10 Team.

The Trials are open to all players born in 2015.

Final squad numbers will be decided after the Trials are completed.

Tournament Details:

1. Tournament: Christchurch International Cup (CIC)
2. Dates: 5th–7th July 2025
3. Venue: United Sports Centre, Yaldhurst
4. Grades: This Tournament is for U10-U12.  This Trial is for U10 Players (2015 born).
5. Cost: $1,337.50 per team (up to 12 players per squad).  The cost will be split evenly among selected players.  Invoices will be issued to families once the team is finalised, and places are accepted.

The Trials for the U10 CIC Tournament Team will be as follows:

Trial Dates

Wednesday 18th June 2025 - 4.00pm-5.00pm

Wednesday 25th June 2025 - 4.00pm-5.00pm

Trials will be held at Kendall Park, Kaiapoi, on the Grass fields.

We ask all players to come prepared with:

• Comfortable clothing suitable for football
• Football boots
• A drink bottle

These trials are for players born in 2015, turning 10 years old in 2025.

Registration is essential, and players must be registered to attend the trials.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our players to experience a high-quality football Tournament in Christchurch.

Registrations close on the 15th June 2025.
