U9 FESTIVAL 2025
Waimak United Football Club – U9 Festival
The Waimak United FC U9 Festival is a fantastic opportunity for young players to participate in a friendly and fun-filled football competition. For many, it will be their first experience in a festival environment.
This event is open to U9 Mainland Teams and In-House Mini Football Teams from all clubs.
The festival will be hosted over two days at the beginning of the Term 3 school holidays and will feature two competitive tiers, ensuring teams of all skill levels can enjoy the experience.
Tier 1 - Teams playing in the Mainland Leagues - Divisions 1 - 6 or from outside Canterbury on application.
Tier 2 - Teams playing in the Mainland Leagues Divisions 6-13, and Club In-House Programme Teams.
Teams from outside Canterbury will need to apply to the Tournament Director - gm@waimakunited.org.nz.
PLAYER AGES: Players MUST be turning 9 in 2025 (or 10 in October/November/December), or must be a minimum of 8 years old by 26th April 2025. There will be NO exceptions to this criteria.
DATES: Saturday 20th September to Sunday 21st September 2025
PLACE: Kendall Park, Island Road, Kaiapoi
