Twilight Football
Welcome to Waimakariri United Football Club's Twilight Football for Term 1. Enter a team and compete in our 6 week competition. Each Team needs to be entered individually.
Competition Details
Dates - 27th February 2023 - 3rd April 2023
Times - Subject to entries, games will be played at 3.45pm, 4.30pm, 5.15pm. Additional rounds may be added.
Venue - Maria Andrews Park, Coldstream Road, Rangiora
Grades
Year 0/1/2 (New Team to Twilight Football) – 5-a-side, max of 8 players per team – 1/2 Junior pitch
Year 0/1/2 (Played Twilight Football before) – 5-a-side, max of 8 players per team – 1/2 Junior pitch
Year 3/4 – 7-a-side, max of 10 players per team – Junior Pitch
Year 5/6 - 7-a-side, max 10 players per team - Junior Pitch
Year 7/8 – 9-a-side, max of 12 players per team – Intermediate Pitch
Entry fees for Term 1 2023
Year 0/1/2 teams - $120.00 per team
Year 3/4 teams - $145.00 per team
Year 5/6 teams - $145 .00 per team
Year 7/8 - $165.00 per team
Schools will be invoiced in the first 2 weeks of the competition and payment must be made before the first game.
Competition Information
- Players MUST wear shin pads as these are compulsory under FIFA laws.
- 20 minute halves with a 2 minute half-time.
- Player of the Day Certificates & Grade Winners will be provided by McDonalds North Canterbury.
- Each team will require a manager to co-ordinate the team. An email address and contact mobile number for this person will be required on the Registration Form to ensure updates to draws or cancellations are communicated with teams.
- Our WUFC Youth Players will referee games.
