There will be up to one U13 Grade Team (16 players in the squad). Coaches will be allocated by the Club.
The Development Team environemnt will provide a more challenging enviroment for those Youth players wanting to push themselves to the next level. Teams will be competing in the top bands in the Mainland Competition.
Those players who register to the Development Teams, and don't make the teams, will continue to be tracked through the season, and may be invited to attend Development Teams Training.
Note: All registered players turning 13 will be placed in a Mainland Team (if they don't make the Development Teams - these teams will be based on the same team as 2023, and new players will be added to teams as needed).
COST:
Early Bird Fee: $235 (paid by 15th March 2024).
Standard Fee: $260 (paid after 15th March 2024).
WHERE: Home games are held at Kendall Park, Island Road Kaiapoi. Away games are held in Christchurch.
WHEN: Saturday mornings. Times are dependent on grade.
Start Date: Saturday 27th April 2024
Finish Date: 7th September 2024
No Football: Middle weekend of July school holidays. Games will be played on Matariki Weekend (Day to be confirmed).
Prizegiving Date: 14th September 2024 (TBC)
2024 OPEN TRAININGS SESSIONS
U13 Development Teams
Dates: 21st, 28th February & 6th March 2024. There will be a final session on the 13th March (invited players only).
Time: 6pm-7pm

South Island or Regional Tournaments - October School Holidays (Mixed and Girls Only Teams) TBC
UNIFORM (Development Teams): - Shirts will be provided. Players provide their own Shorts & Socks. Both Lotto and Adidas Uniform can be worn in 2024. Full Adidas Uniform will need to be purchased in 2025. Shin pads are COMPULSORY. Boots (no metal studs) are recommended as players may train and play on both turf and grass.
CANCELLATIONS: Grounds and game cancellations will be on the Club website and Facebook page as well as Mainland Football website.
