Waimak United Football Club: A message from the Club

Good Evening,

As the country heads into a state of Level 4 lock down and we are advised to stay home we have decided to set up a YouTube channel (Waimak United TV) for our football enthusiasts to enjoy the beloved game from their back yard (with parents encouraged to join in the fun!).

We will be posting videos regularly on our YouTube channel to give you some ideas of what you can do with your children at home, simple fun games for the little ones and some challenges for the older children.

The first video is aimed at children aged 4 to 6 - see link below.

For parents and coaches of older kids (youth and seniors) we are setting a Maradona 7 challenge! See the video below of whats involved, anyone can send Adam their attempts via Whatsapp on 021358200 or email it through to fdo.waimak@yahoo.com. It would be great to get a compilation video of senior men's and women's players, club coaches and youth team players giving it a go so please share and subscribe to the YouTube channel.

If you have any ideas or have a challenge/skills you want us to post, please email Adam at fdo.waimak@yahoo.com with your ideas. If you have any general/admin queries please email Amy at waimakunited@xtra.co.nz. We are both working from home throughout the Level 4 lock down period.

The health and well being of our family and community is extremely important during these unprecedented times. See below a link for the Covid-19 help and advise page.

Lastly from all of us at Waimak United FC take care of yourself and your loved ones and we look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Kia Kaha, we are all in this together.

Regards

Waimak United Football Club
