Mini Football (9-10yrs)

WHO: A program of ball discovery and growing FUNdamental skills for girls turning 9-10yrs, through skills and games, using best practice, by following the NZFootball Whole of Football Plan for Mini Football.

NOTE: If girls are turning 10 years old in 2024, they also have the option of playing in the Mainland Competition - U10 Grade Girls Only for the 2023 Season.  Please refer to our Girls Only Mainland Programmes.

Early Bird Fee: $110.00 (paid by 15th March 2024).

Standard Fee: $135.00 (paid after 15th March 2024).

WHERE: Maria Andrews, Coldstream Road, Rangiora.

WHEN: Saturday Mornings for 9-10yrs

Sessions run from 9.00am-10.30am (30 minute team training/skills session followed by weekly game).

Information:  All Girls will have a Skills & Small Games Session (skills session 30 minutes 9-10yrs), then move into Games with mixed teams (playing in girls only team).  These may be combined if numbers don't allow enough for two teams.

Start Date: 27th April 2024

Finish Date: Saturday 7th September 2024

No football on Matariki weekend, and the Middle weekend of July school holidays.

Prizegiving Date: 7th September 2024

INFORMATION:

• Skills sessions followed by a game with game leaders following the NZ Football- Whole of Football curriculum.
• Number of sessions: 15 x sessions.
• Players will need to provide black shorts, black socks, shinpads and boots.  Playing Tops will be provided and given to coaches to give out to the team at the start of the season. 
• Shin pads are COMPULSORY.
• If it is deemed unsafe due to heavy rain or cold conditions the session may be cancelled. Cancellations will be listed on the club website and Facebook page.​​​​​​​
