WHO: A program developing core football skills for players turning 9-12 years including games in the Mainland Christchurch "banded" leagues. 

​​​​​​​Note: Players turing 9 or 10 need to attend Junior Team Allocation Days. Players 9 and 10 will be placed into either our In-house Mini Football teams or our Junior Mainland Teams. All registered players turning 11 or 12 will be placed in a Mainland grade team. 


Early Bird Fee: $215 (paid by 31st March 2022).

Standard Fee: $235 (paid after 1st April 2022).

WHERE: Home games are held at Kendall Park, Island Road Kaiapoi. Away games are held in Christchurch.

WHEN: Saturday mornings. Times are dependent on grade.

Start Date: Saturday 30th April 2022

Finish Date: TBC

Middle weekend of July school holidays no competition. 

Prizegiving Date: TBC

9th Grade Festival and South Island or Regional Tournaments (10th grade Festival, 11th grade and 12th grade Tournament) October School Holidays. Date TBC.


Team allocation will be held at our club day at Kendall park, Kaiapoi. All returning players and new players should try to attend.

NOTE: There are no trials at Waimak United Football club for our junior Mainland teams. Players are allocated to teams at our club day.

Teams will start training after Club Day.

UNIFORM: Players provide their own shirts for this grade (1x Black, 1x Red). Players also provide their own BLACK shorts and socks, shinpads and boots. Shin pads are COMPULSORY. Boots (no metal studs) are recommended as players may train and play on both turf and grass. 

CANCELLATIONS: Grounds and game cancellations will be on the Club website and Facebook page as well as Mainland Football website.
