Futsal Tournament

Waimak United Football Club are excited to announce the launch of our Inaugural South Island Primary Schools Futsal Tournament.

This will give South Island Primary Schools the opportunity to enter a Futsal Tournament, where they can compete against other South Island Primary Schools, in a fast-growing sport.

Date:                                                   18th - 21st April 2023

Venue:                                                Mainpower Stadium, 289 Coldstream Road, Rangiora 7400

Grade Options:                                  Year 5/6 & Year 7/8

Tournament Details

• Each School can enter one team in each age group.
• Games will be run between 8am – 8pm each day. (Times may change depending on number of Teams)
• Four courts will be running each session.
• Both grades will be limited to 12 Teams (24 Teams in Total).  If the demand is high we may extend grade numbers, but there are 24 Team Spots availabe (12 for each Grade).  Spots are filling up fast already.
• Teams can have up to 10 players.
• All Teams will have 8 games over the 4 days of Tournament – Pool Play, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Finals.
• Once the Grades are full, we will run a Waitlist.  We will advise as soon as possible if a place becomes available.
• Team Entry Fee to be advised.
