Welcome to the South Island 14th grade girls Tournament for 2009

This tournament is being run by North Canterbury Football, and hosted by Waimak United at their Kendall Park, Kaiapoi grounds.

The park is located on Island Rd on the outskirts of Kaiapoi.

The Kaiapoi township, known as the Rivertown, has a wide variety of eating establishments, pharmacies, bookshops etc.

Our nearest sports shop Sportsworld NorthCanterbury is 5 minutes up Island/Flaxton Road to Rangiora. They are a huge supporter of North Canterbury and Waimak United Football, and Nigel will be happy to help with any sporting needs where he can.

The 2009 tournament includes 9 teams: Nelson, Marlborough, North Canterbury, Canterbury Red, Canterbury Black, Mid Canterbury, South Canterbury, Otago and Central Otago

Each team will leave tournament with a certificate acknowledging their placing.  Winners and Runners-up will receive medals, and each team will have a player nominated as their MVP by coaches.

We hope the girls enjoy this tournament, and we look forward to seeing some of them progress on to their Federation teams for National tournament.
